            😎- Facevo castelli in aria, ma poi diventai una persona seria e precisa. Ora li fotografo.

il Castello di Rosignano Marittimo ha origini molto antiche e si presume che il suo nucleo centrale sia stato eretto addirittura in epoca etrusca o romana. E' invece certo che in era medievale venne fatta costruire la fortezza vera e propria, comprensiva anche della chiesa di San Ilario e di suggestive torri circolari fatte costruire nel 1562 dalla famiglia De'Medici. Il castello si presenta in ottimo stato di conservazione grazie a recenti e sapienti lavori di restauro.

the Castle of Rosignano Marittimo has very ancient origins and it is assumed that its central nucleus was erected even in Etruscan or Roman times. On the other hand, it is certain that the fortress itself was built in the Middle Ages, including the church of San Ilario and suggestive circular towers built in 1562 by the De'Medici family. The castle is in excellent condition thanks to recent and wise restoration works.
