<Cala Almadraba o Llisera
Sorprendentemente, Benidorm no sólo ofrece largas y animadas playas de arena, sino también calas aisladas y tranquilas. Alejándonos del extremo norte de la Playa de Levante, subiendo hacia la cima de la Punta de la Llisera (una montaña rocosa que ofrece una vista impresionante de la ciudad y del mar), llegaremos a una parte más tranquila de la costa, situada al pie del Parque Natural de Sierra Gelada.

Aquí se encuentra Cala Almadrava, una pequeña cala situada a pocos metros de calles y edificios, pero capaz de trasladarnos a una sensación de desierto y aislamiento. Para acceder a la playa hay que caminar por un estrecho pasadizo de hormigón; la entrada del sendero puede estar algo escondida. Estacionar en los alrededores de la playa puede ser complicado, por lo que es buena idea llegar en autobús o a pie.

La playa, con su mezcla de arena fina y rocas, está abierta tanto a los bañistas "tradicionales" como a los naturistas. Tiene sólo 100 metros de largo y de 10 a 15 metros de ancho; los servicios son escasos, con sólo un guardia de seguridad activo durante los meses de verano, así que recuerda traer contigo todo lo que puedas necesitar. El agua es increíblemente clara, y el fondo marino está lleno de vida e interesantes formaciones rocosas; si te gusta el snorkel, no debes perder la oportunidad de bucear.

Surprisingly, Benidorm offers not only long and lively sandy beaches, but also secluded and quiet coves. Moving away from the northern end of Levante Beach, climbing to the top of Punta de la Llisera (a rocky mountain that offers a breathtaking view of the city and the sea), we will reach a quieter part of the coast, located at the foot of the Sierra Gelada Natural Park.

Here is Almadrava Cove, a small cove located a few meters from streets and buildings, but capable of moving us to a feeling of desert and isolation. To access the beach you have to walk through a narrow concrete passageway; the entrance of the path may be somewhat hidden. Parking in the vicinity of the beach can be complicated, so it's a good idea to get there by bus or on foot.

The beach, with its mixture of fine sand and rocks, is open to both "traditional" bathers and naturists. It is only 100 meters long and 10 to 15 meters wide; services are scarce, with only one security guard active during the summer months, so remember to bring everything you need with you. The water is incredibly clear, and the seabed is full of life and interesting rock formations; If you like snorkeling, you should not miss the opportunity to dive.
