Leaving the Park

            After pulling out of the Denali Park station the train immediately crosses Riley Creek on a steel trestle then the Parks Hwy on a through girder bridge before finally crossing the Parks Hwy at grade at MP 345.1. On a warm early afternoon the southbound Denali Star is about to cross the Parks Hwy and continue their journey to Anchorage.
