簡介 Description：
台灣特有種 Endemic Birds of Taiwan
台灣的鳥類中除了己確認的15種全球僅存於台灣的特有種鳥類外，國際鳥盟全球研究計劃負責單位，比對亞洲畫眉標本和國際主要的博物館文獻紀錄。
應該還有另外十種也是特有種，根據最新的DNA研究結果顯示，台灣新增七種獨步全球的特有種鳥類，大彎嘴畫眉即是其中之一。
別名：斑胸鈎嘴鶥、繡臉鉤嘴鶥體長：L25 cm 雌、雄鳥特徵無差異。
習性：通常活動於低海拔的雜木林或次森林底層，不甚飛行，鳴聲嘹亮悅耳老遠就可聽見，因為生性畏懼隱密，不容易見其蹤影，要見牠需要點運氣。
