The lady and the pyramid - a photo on Flickriver

            A photo session (model: Katja Heuer) at the Louvre pyramid.

The idea behind the composition was to interweave the geometric metal frames of the pyramid with a human figure. Beyond the contrast between flesh and metal, the position was however taken to echo the lines of the pyramid, and yet is a typical cabaret danse position.

I post-processed this picture using "the Gimp" software, mostly to tune the contrast.
