Moss sporangiums in ice drops / Esporangios del musgo en un mundo de cristal

            Moss sporangiums, the spheres containing the spores for reproduction, wrapped in a ball of ice approximately one centimeter in diameter. Image captured while the temperature is around several degrees below zero at the edge of a mountain stream that generously waters them with a spray. A world of color completely unexpected. Pedriza de Manzanares, Madrid, in my favorite stream, with the lens resting on the ground to ensure sharpness and prevent a blurred photo.

Esporangios del musgo, las esferas que contienen las esporas para la reproducción, envueltos en una bola de hielo de aproximadamente un centímetro de diámetro. Imagen captada  mientras la temperatura ronda varios grados bajo cero al borde de un arroyo de montaña que generosamente los riega con un spray. Un mundo de color completamente inesperado. Pedriza de Manzanares, Madrid,en mi arroyo favorito, con el objetivo apoyado en el suelo para asegurar la nitidez y evitar el movimiento.
