Luna - Canis lupus familiaris - a photo on Flickriver

Continuing my review of the year: Part 3 - Summer.

The fox family disappeared in July but at the end of August we had a beautiful new addition to our family. Luna is now 6 months old but this photo shows her at just 9 weeks.

As for the wildlife, mid Summer seems to have passed in a heat haze. A Red-backed Shrike at Thursley was a top bird but not especially cooperative and on Ashdown Forest Dartford Warblers seem to have had a good breeding season but otherwise I had few notable photo opportunities in July or August, hence the puppy picture.
