The colours of Brum. - a photo on Flickriver

             Birmingham, despite being considered a drab city, there is much colour to be found. To the right is an old pub which is regularly given a fresh "street art" look by artists from the nearby school in Digbeth. To the left is the more artless tagging. This is an old factory and the rusted through lighting unit was used to illuminate their yard.
 The view is across Bordesley Street, it was taken from an old and rather wobbly fire escape.
No less than 3 liveries are displayed by the train. Leading is ex East Midland Trains 153310 it is coupled to London Midland livery 153334 which is attached to a class 170 in West Midlands Railway gold. The train was 2C20 09.55 Kidderminster to Dorridge which was terminated at Snow Hill, it then ran ECS to Tyseley only to re-appear in Moor Street at 11.29 (That is how I know the numbers)
