Polar Bear Ice Diving - a photo on Flickriver

            Male Polar Bear (Ursus maritimus) swimming in the icy waters off the coast of Barter Island, Alaska. Polar Bears raise themselves up in the water, dive down with their front paws and head, and crash through the ice. Then they dive down under the water, come back up paws and head first, and start the process again.
