            I took this past week off in the hopes of camping out and getting some Persied meteor in northern Arizona...but it is monsoon season and it has been cloudy and rainy all week, except early on Monday, my first night out. I lucked out. This shot shot took some planning, and I went out a week in advance to scout this location. Wukoki Indian Ruins were occupied about 1100 A.D.. part of the Wupatki National Monument.
Jupiter and Saturn are in the lower left sky. There are about 10 meteor trails, in this combined shot with the Milkyway. 
I used 2 low-level lights to accentuate the ruins. ISO 3200, 20 sec exposures, Canon 6D, Rokinon 14mm lens. Distant lightning helped give the clouds a glow in the distance.
