Jameos del Agua

            Lanzarote is a Spanish island, the easternmost of the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean and the fourth-largest of the islands in the archipelago. It is the third most populous Canary Island, after Tenerife and Gran Canaria.

On the contrary to its western neighbours, volcanic origin of Lanzarote is visible throughout the island and its black-sand landscape, dotted by vineyards and white-washed houses, may look surreal in places.

We visited Lanzarote during our Canary islands family vacation back in December 2021.

Laidback atmosphere, small villages, volcanic landscape, vineyards in black sand... Lanzarote is much different than Gran Canaria or Tenerife.
