From a collection of some 500 Boeing slides that I've had scanned from my archives. I couldn't choose where to start, so we're going randomly with the Boeing 720s. Hope they will provide some enjoyment and nostalgia from a bygone age.
This is my last Boeing 720 slide scan - military Boeings next :)

9H-AAN Boeing 720 of Air Malta is seen climbing steeply away from London Heathrow on a beautiful summer's day. These aircraft were commonly seen on scheduled flights into Heathrow at the time. According to my trusty log book the aircraft was on regular flight KM101.

9H-AAN c/n 18380 Boeing 720-040B - delivered new to PIA as AP-AMJ in November 1962. The aircraft was one of two leased to Air Malta in 1974, and was bought by the airline five years later, re-registered as 9H-AAN. The aircraft flew with the airline for another 5 years before returning to the USA re-registered as N5487N in 1984 and stored at Marana, then transferred to Boeing to be parted out for the KC-135E program at Davis-Monthan AFB.

Air Malta leased its first two Boeing 720Bs from PIA in 1974, retaining their Pakistan registrations AP-AMG and AP-AMJ. They were joined by another three from Western Airlines in 1978/9, registered in Malta as 9H-AAK, L & O. The two PIA aircraft were bought at this time, and re-registered 9H-AAM & N. The fleet was augmented in the 1978 summer season with two aircraft leased from Eagle Air Arnaflug, TF-VLB & C, and with the lease of Maersk Air OY-APV in 1980-1. All the Boeing 720s had been sold by the end of the decade.

Taken with a Soviet made Zenith TTL camera and 300mm lens. From an original Agfachrome slide, scanned and unrestored. I hardly ever veered away from Kodachrome, but this was an exception :)
