The Boeing Collection
From a collection of some 500 Boeing slides that I've had scanned from my archives. Hope they will provide some enjoyment and nostalgia from a bygone age.

I really liked the Aer Lingus livery :) With less than a year left in service with the airline, here we see 1965 vintage Boeing 707-348C EI-ANO blasting down runway 28L at London Heathrow. The aircraft was operating what may have been a cargo flight EI9149 [see comments section below]. This is the only slide I seem to have taken of an Aer Lingus 707 at Heathrow!

EI-ANO 'St Brigid' c/n 18880 - Boeing 707-348C was delivered new to Aer Lingus in Apr 1965. The aircraft was leased to Flying Tigers as N318F in 1966-67, and Nigeria Airways in 1972-74. After 16 years with Aer Lingus, the aircraft was sold to United African Airlines as SU-BLJ, and then two years later to Jamahiriya Air Transport (Libyan Arab) as 5A-DIX. By the early 1990s, the aircraft had been retired and parked up at Cairo International. It was gradually stripped and broken up around 1993.
