            A bull River Hippo (Hippopotamus amphibius) in his favorite pool formed by a branch of the San River.  Conservation status: Vulnerable.  
He is joined by a small Nile crocodile (Crocodylus niloticus) resting on the rocks behind him on the left. Conservation status: Least Concern.
