Looking East - a photo on Flickriver

Looking East

            Another image from the archive, from a place which I am currently unable to visit. It is pretty much simplistic - but I actually see a lot of patterns in the image, like the strong colors in the sky balancing the otherwise muted colors, the soft but still structured water, the big rock acting as anchor point, the dynamics of the triangle spanned by the two rocks in the foreground with the brightest spot in the sky, more dynamics between the rectangle spanned by the four structures in the water and the format of the overall image, and so on. Who just said that I am overinterpreting my own image? Well, they are right. ;-)
