2008-04-14 : Just added this to the Guess Where Berkeley pool. This is on a well-traveled street near a well-known and much visited location, so it seemed a good canididate!

I've passed this doorway for a few years now, always intending to capture it. Today (2008-03-30), the strong Spring light seemed to make it just right.
The 'Dr. Seuss' plant on the right is a carefully 'poodle-clipped' specimen of "Hollywood" juniper (Juniperus chinensis 'Kai-zuka', a.k.a. J. chinensis 'Torulosa') - a common way that these beautiful plants are tortured in our area.
