Solar fog (In Explore - Bessa R2A / Fujicolor 200)

            The Ägerital highland one sunny late Autumn afternoon, with fog pouring onto the lake from Kanton Schwyz to the south. In the far center-right distance, the Urner Alps. Bordering the lake on the left, the Morgartenberg, where Switzerland was effectively consolidated by a very famous battle with invading Habsburgs in 1315 (the Austrian Habsburgs were slaughtered by irregular Swiss mountain men; the end of the lake you see here is reputed to have turned red with blood). 

On the right, the Rossberg. On the other side of the Rossberg is the Zugersee (at a much lower elevation than the Ägerisee) and the region of Walchwil. This lake, the Ägerisee, empties into the Zugersee via a small river called the Lorze to the west (hard right).  Eventually these waters end up in Holland and the North Sea via the Rhine River, 630km as the crow flies.
