Birmingham "Chicken Coop" and "Combine Harvester" writing inks on paper.

These inks are made by the Birmingham Pen Co in PA. They are technically for writing but I love the colors and how they change hues and colors depending on the concentration. It is a bit unpredictable. So I keep working on how to use them and this may be one of the first things I've actually liked. 

The inks are not resilient to water, like India ink, when they dry, and as such it is hard to layer them. They aren't made for drawing but they are just so pretty.
