            Stunning Detail Of Hibiscus - IMRAN™
I love Florida and in particular the Apollo Beach area on Tampa Bay. I am blessed to live in. But the variety of flowers I see in the area is not the same as I would around my blessed homes in New York or especially in Lahore, Pakistan, in the spring. 
I happen to have some rose bushes and an often blooming hibiscus. A couple of bougainvillea complete the flowering variety I have here, or anywhere within walking distance. A few shrubs with small flowers are around but not like your traditional fields of flowers one associates with spring. 
So when I have had the rare opportunity to try to learn more macro photography techniques I have to do it without both fancy macro lenses or fancy flowers. But this hibiscus plant in my driveway never ceases to amaze me with the range of color and details that it offers. Not bad for a handheld photo with my 14 years old Nikon D300.
I will have to post a separate photo or more for context on what a small part of the flower this is. I may post another one, maybe more than one, displaying the smaller parts of the structure in closer detail. For now, just savor this mesmerizing detail. 
Can you see the hair-like structures? I would call them cilia but having never been a fan of botany, or biology in general, I may not remember all the right names of the part of this flower.
