"The Cloch" - a photo on Flickriver

"The Cloch"

            "The Cloch Lighthouse" again (which reminds me that I must get out more for new material) Built in 1797 and sitting on Cloch Point it signals a warning to shipping entering the River Clyde from the Firth of Clyde. The houses in the distance are in the small coastal town of Kilcreggan which is located at the south end of the Rosneath Peninsula, a daily Ferry runs from the Port of Gourock to Kilcreggan where some lovely walks are to be found. You can then end your day in the local Cafe before returning on the Ferry.
