Le isole misteriose - Mysterious islands
L'isola Formica maggiore e l'Isola di Montecristo

Se in una giornata di tramontana vi capitasse di passeggiare lungo la spiaggia tra Marina di Alberese e Cala di Forno, molto probabilmente vedrete all'orizzonte la sagoma di un misterioso sommergibile. In realtà si tratta di una delle tre Isole Formiche, quella più grande con il faro. Nella foto c'è un'altra isola resa misteriosa da Dumas nel suo libro, ma ancor di più dal divieto di accesso posto dal Consiglio d'Europa.

If in a day of north wind you happen to stroll along the beach between Marina di Alberese and Cala di Forno, most likely you will see on the horizon the silhouette of a mysterious submarine. In fact it is one of the three islands named "Ants of Grosseto", the bigger one with the lighthouse. In the picture there is another island made mysterious by Dumas in his book, but even more by the banning of the Council of Europe.
