Sunline - Spree - candy package - 1960's

            Spree is a true candy classic, first introduced in 1966, and in packaging far different than what would come later.   Note that this package features the "new" call-out, so this is indeed from the first years of the release.  

Like Breaker (I'll get to them in a couple of posts), Sunline is a company that would eventually go on to produce early Wonka-branded candies.  Spree themselves are now part of the Wonka family, but predate the brand by a handful of years.  Because of the later Wonka connection, I'm quite fond of Sunline offerings, especially items like this. 

I don't own this package (though I'd love to) - but  was fortunate enough to get these scans from another collector.  The scans of this great Spree package come from fellow collector, Wendell.   Thanks, Wendell!
