L2020_4983 - Heath Lane Bridge - Birkenhead Joint Railway

Heath Lane Bridge on the GWR / LMS joint branch line to West Kirby. As with all bridges on the line it was built for double track should doubling have bene thought necessary. The West Kirby branch closed before much of the late 20th Century housing development took place. One wonders if the line had survived it might actually become another useful part of the Merseyrail network?
