The Poppies Are Here ! - a photo on Flickriver

            A sure sign of spring here in California is colorful fields of poppies, leaning their fragile orange faces into the sun. I was at Stanford campus this morning to meet with the instructor in my photography class, and as I was leaving, drove past the new Bing Performance Center; their beautiful natural landscaping features a field of wildflowers blooming cheerfully. 

I was feeling "artistic" so played around with frames and bevels.
