Sobre las orillas del Sena en París se pueden contemplar algunos de los más bellos monumentos de la capital de Francia, de la Torre Eiffel a Notre-Dame pasando por la Concordia, pero también los puentes históricos que las unen. Las dos orillas están inscritas en la lista del Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la Unesco desde 1991.

El Sena, que discurre hacia el oeste en dirección a su estuario normando, divide la ciudad de París en dos partes distintas: la margen u orilla derecha y la margen u orilla izquierda. Los dos nombres cubren la totalidad de los distritos de París de cada lado del río. La inscripción en el Patrimonio de la Humanidad sólo se refiere a las orillas y a los monumentos que se construyeron allí. 

On the banks of the Seine in Paris you can see some of the most beautiful monuments of the capital of France, from the Eiffel Tower to Notre-Dame through the Concord, but also the historical bridges that unite them. The two shores are inscribed on the Unesco World Heritage list since 1991.

The Seine, which runs westward towards its Norman estuary, divides the city of Paris into two distinct parts: the margin or right bank and the margin or left bank. The two names cover the whole of the Paris districts on each side of the river. The inscription on the World Heritage Site only refers to the shores and to the monuments that were built there.
