Photogenic Chipmunk - a photo on Flickriver

            From the archives, taken on 27 April 2021 while visiting the Grand Canyon. 

The landscape there was breathtaking, yet I could still only give it about half of my attention as there was so much wildlife in close proximity to the rim, going completely unnoticed my most of the masses.

I believe this fellow has become dependent on the tourists for handouts because you could easily get very close to him. That and with the boulders piled all around, he had multiple pathways of escape.
