a walk above the clouds - a photo on Flickriver

            "undercast" as viewed from the lion head trail, mount washington, new hampshire, highest peak in the northeast at 6,288'.  

I have done this hike many times now, in all four seasons, and each time it is different.  whether there are spectacular views or none at all, I am always grateful to be able to make it to the top, and to get back down safely, and most of all, for good friends with whom to share the experience.
