Románico Palentino. Monasterio S. Andrés de Arroyo. Palencia

             Esta foto ya fue subida en el año 2008. Pero hoy la he querido rescatar en su tamaño original, para poder disfrutar de la belleza de este Claustro Cisterciense. El claustro es la joya del monasterio, de arcos tímidamente apuntados sobre esbeltas columnas pareadas y capiteles finamente trabajados con motivos vegetales en tres de las cuatro crujías, albergando a veces cogollos o bolas.

This photo was already uploaded in 2008. But today I wanted to rescue it in its original size, to be able to enjoy the beauty of this Cistercian Cloister. The cloister is the jewel of the monastery, with timidly pointed arches on slender paired columns and finely worked capitals with plant motifs in three of the four bays, sometimes housing buds or balls.

Cette photo a déjà été téléchargée en 2008. Mais aujourd'hui je voulais la récupérer dans sa taille d'origine, pour pouvoir profiter de la beauté de ce cloître cistercien. Le cloître est le joyau du monastère, avec des arcs timidement pointus sur de fines colonnes jumelées et des chapiteaux finement travaillés avec des motifs végétaux dans trois des quatre baies, abritant parfois des bourgeons ou des boules.
