Golden Lubber is eating his way back from the end of a Crinum leaf

Look at this one close...
After months of no Lubber sightings, one rainy morning a week ago I found them again living on a Crinum Lily... or rather eating it away. The new ones I've seen are friendly too, witness how close I was able to get.

I love seeing the mouth structure and the dark brown markings on the golden legs. The black gripper feet with hooks... you'll see them more clearly in later shots. And of course, the eyes. The stare. And the rapidly moving/sensing antennae.
