小角鴞 ( 領角鴞 ) - a photo on Flickriver

            領角鴞 Collared Scops Owl【Otus bakkamoena】Juvenile 鴞形目 / 鴟鴞科。屬中小型貓頭鷹，眼睛為橙紅色。

白天停棲於樹葉繁密的樹叢內休息，入夜後才出來活動，常居住在1,200公尺以下低海拔的闊葉林中，為台灣典型留鳥，也是唯一能在都市裡見到的貓頭鷹，這張是在去年年底早上拍攝的，當時的小角鴞很古錐地站在樹洞裡望著外面，看牠們的體色真的相當適合在樹林裡生存，我想若不出聲和仔細看，可能還真不容易發現牠們，上禮拜抽空再去看牠們時，大家都長大了，越來越像成鳥了，能看到牠們平安在這長大，真的很開心，也希望大家能留給鳥兒一點生存的空間，不要過度干擾了。
