Op weg naar Dresden met de SSN Jubileum Expres II

            De Stoom Stichting Nederland bestond 40 jaar in 2016 en ter gelegenheid daarvan maakte de SSN een stoomrit van Rotterdam naar Dresden. Op de foto passeert stoomlocomotief 01 1075 de spoorbrug over de Lek bij Culemborg. In Mönchengladbach werd de stoomlocomotief ingewisseld voor een elektrische veteraan die de trein naar Leipzig bracht. Vanaf Leipzig ging het weer met stoom naar Dresden.

On its way to Dresden

As the Stoom Stichting Nederland was celebrating its 40th birthday in 2016, a special anniversary run was made from Rotterdam to Dresden (Germany). At the picture the train is seen crossing the river Lek at Culemborg. The engine was detached from the train at Mönchengladbach and exchanched for a veteran electric loco. From Leipzig on the train was steam hauled again to Dresden.
