5B-DBR Boeing 737-8Q8W euroCypria LPA 28JAN09

            Replacing an earlier digital photo with a better version 06-Sep-24.

Way out of it's area!  I have no idea why this EuroCypria aircraft was in Las Palmas.  They normally operate between mainland Europe an Cyprus.  It was using it's own callsign!

Named:  "Eypos".  'Lime Green' tail livery.

First flown with the Boeing test registration N1787B, this aircraft was delivered to ILFC International Lease Finance Corporation and leased to euroCypria Airlines as 5B-DBR in Apr-07.

euroCypria was merged into Cyprus Airways and ceased operations in Nov-10, the aircraft was returned to the lessor and stored at Shannon, Ireland.  It was re-registered N364LF in Dec-10.

ILFC sold it to Macquarie Airfinance as F-WTAC in Jan-11 and it was moved to Toulouse for further storage, still in full euroCypria livery.  In Mar-11 it was moved to Montpellier, France for maintenance and painting.

In Apr-11 the aircraft was leased to Caribbean Airlines as 9Y-JMD.  It was removed from service in Nov-20 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and initially stored at Port-of-Spain, Trinidad.  It was moved to Indianapolis, IN, USA the following month.

It ferried to Spokane, WA, USA in late Jul-21 for painting and then ferried to Goodyear, AZ, USA in early Aug-21 for further storage  The aircraft returned to the lessor N720MQ in Jan-22.  It was leased to new Argentine 'low-cost' operator FlyBondi as LV-KCE in Mar-22.  Current, updated 06-Sep-24.
