The Glow - a photo on Flickriver

The Glow

            Tell you a story, about 10 years ago I was staying in an hotel in Wales. At breakfast there was a table of around 6 Americans from South Carolina. 

We got taking and I asked what they were doing today? They said they had come over to England to see a few places but the main 2 were Stonehenge and the Cavern Club of the Beatles fame.

I said "I have never been to them myself and had no intention of either" The look on their faces was like I had burned the American flag! 

They were aghast that I lived in England and never even bothered to visit these places and that they had travelled all this way to do so.

I guess the meaning of the story is that it's important explore your own country or city because there is always magic to find.... 

I will make an effort to visit Stonehenge and the Cavern one day....
