The Sweet Sound of Blossom - a photo on Flickriver

            It's the whistle in the wind, the song of the birds and the distant rustling of the trees; the sweet sound of blossom. 

This is my entry for the LEGO Ideas’ LEGO house competition, in the musical category. Our word for music originates from the Greek writings of the nine muses. Music is derived from the Mousike, 'art of the Muses'. Adored deities of beauty, memory and charm, they were long believed to dance in the woodlands. Each one representing their own domain, I've reimagined the muse of song – Euterpe. With every blow of her flute, pluck of her harp and note on her piano, another lavender flower blossoms.
