Peaking Quoddy Light - a photo on Flickriver

            From this past summer there in Lubec, Maine along the Atlantic Coast, this was a handheld shot taken just prior to the sun popping over the horizon. I think this shot taken that morning was at the peak of sky color there along the horizon, and the colors being cast up onto the overhead clouds was just terrific. Timed this shutter capture to catch the LH light turned on. It was flashing on for a couple seconds every 15 seconds or so.
