A Yellow Throated Sparrow surveying the ground

            A trip to a new location - a remote forest - yielded some wonderful places - beautiful views and lots of action, but almost no pictures. 

The forest was full of these yellow-throated sparrows, possibly 200 or more over a couple of kms. They are hunting for a moth which was very beautiful but almost invisible on the tree bark. The moth made a electric buzzing sound and there were probably thousands of them. The sparrows were busy trying to catch them, but only a few had some success.
