Gwenn's Wine Bottle Birthday Cake - a photo on Flickriver

This cake was for a birthday party with a wine tasting theme. The grapes are marzipan and everything else, including the marblized platter, are fondant. This was a much more successful attempt than the first wine bottle cake I made, which collapsed on the way to the party in the car. I ended up taking it in anyway and people were like, "Wow, that's amazing! What is that, lasagna?" You just never know what kind of reaction people are gonna have!
