View from Vauxhall Bridge - a photo on Flickriver

            I was in London a few weeks ago to run an errand and on the way I happened to walk over Vauxhall Bridge. The weather as you can see here was grey and misty, not a lot of light but it did make the areas around the river very atmospheric. The fact the river was at low tide, exposing quite an expanse of the bank, I think probably helped this composition giving it a grittier feel than it might otherwise have had. This was shot standing on the Pimlico end of Vauxhall Bridge looking south west towards Battersea and Nine Elms.
