Northern Mockingbird 1/2 - a photo on Flickriver

            The Northern Mockingbird is our Rooster - and since it continues to beckon for my attention, I gave in today.  (I also fondly refer to this bird as the "car alarm bird," as its call changes frequently and effortlessly, much like (but not in the annoying way) some car alarms sound off. Taken in the backyard.
