So using recycled and thrifted materials has its drawbacks. We need to be out and about sourcing and collecting fabrics and materials regularly. Recently, we took a pause from our most recent project (still a work in progress) while we look for the right materials, colors and textures. This is when I take the time to do something slightly different. It has been a while since I've made a new pattern and I wanted to try a classic. Bare with me here. For years, I've saved several scraps of faux fur collected from the Pasadena City College Flea Market. This one is a very soft black faux fur that required the right project to be used for. My challenge was to create a classic pattern and figure out movable joints (I did it using regular buttons and a strong string for it).
