Grimpereau des jardins : ravitaillement et nettoyage

            C'est le long du tronc qu'il construit son nid, au fond d'une anfractuosité ou derrière une écorce soulevée, parfois très bas, mais souvent à trois ou quatre mètres du sol. C'est généralement en mai que les 5 ou 6 œufs sont pondus. L'incubation dure 15 jours, et les jeunes s'envolent au bout de deux semaines. Le Grimpereau des jardins se nourrit d'insectes et d'araignées....et comme tous les oiseaux évacue du nid les déjections de ses petits.
