Can The Old Fire Station Be a Bus Depot?

            Due to budget cuts the fire station has closed. This would be circa 1991. Hubert Salt, owner of Salts Coaches, is interested in purchasing it, but wanted to see if a bus could be accommodated in the garage. Bristol RE YHY592J is being used to assess the situation by one of Salts Drivers. Hubert has turned up in his daily runabout a VW Beetle. Maybe if the bus fits he will submit an offer?

The Bristol RELL6L was new to Bristol in 1971, moved to Badgerline and then worked for Hastings & District in whose livery it is seen here albeit debranded and ready for sale. (Yes, Hubert was trying the bus out as much as the garage but in the end didn't purchase either!).
Bus is an EFE diecast released February 2001 and with some modification to its paintwork and destination display.
Car is an Oxford Diecast VW Beetle retro fitted with British Bumpers not the American type fitted by OD.
