Härtsfeldbahn - a photo on Flickriver

Härtsfeldbahn

De kleine vierassige motorwagen T33 is op de metersporige Härtsfeldbahn onderweg en heeft bijna het eindstation Neresheim bereikt. Het is de leuke dieselmotorwagen niet aan te zien dat het een veteraan uit 1934. De motorwagen is in de legendarische fabriek van Wismar gebouwd voor de Kleinbahn Bremen-Tarmstedt. Na sluiting van die smalspoorlijn werd het motorrijtuig verkocht aan de Würtembergische Nebenbahn Gesellschaft voor inzet op de lange smalspoorlijn Aalen - Neresheim - Dilligen. Voor inbedrijfname werd de motorwagen ingrijpend gemoderniseerd. Auwärter in Stuttgart bouwde een nieuwe wagenbak. Er werden twee zware Büssing NAG-S11 motoren van ieder 170 pk ingebouwd. Zodoende kon de motorwagen als "Schlepptriebwagen" dienst doen en lange goederentreinen met opgebokte normaalspoorgoedernwagens trekken. De hooggeplaatste spoorbuffers op het front herinneren aan dit rolbokvervoer. Bijwagen TA 101 heeft ook een nieuwe carrosserie van Auwärter uit 1954.
Deze frisse combinatie is naast de stoomtrein in gebruik op de leuke museumlijn van Neresheim naar Sägmühle.
