            Der für eine große und feste Burganlage in besonderem Maße geeignete Bergkegel steigt vollkommen frei aus einer schwache gewellten Ebene auf. Ihn umkreist in mehrfachen Windungen der durch 14 Tore gesicherte Fahrweg in bequemer Steigung, überbrückt tiefe Schluchten, lehnt sich an geschickt ausgemeißelte Felswände, erweitert sich zu Waffenplätzen, bis er die den Berggipfel krönende Hauptburg erreicht.
