            In 2018 bestond de Stoomtram Hoorn Medemblik (SHM) al weer 50 jaar. Het gehele jaar waren er diverse festiviteiten, waarvan het Bello festival er één was. Het was al weer een tijdje geleden dat we bij de SHM waren langs geweest. Vlak voor het festival kwam ook de 6513 onder stoom en nu de SSN met de 01 1075 en 65 018 ook pendelritten verzorgde tussen Hoorn en Enkhuizen, moest daar zeker een bezoekje gebracht worden. Het was ook de eerste keer dat mijn vader na ernstige langdurige ziekte weer eens mee op pad kon. Het was schitterend weer en er waren weer vele mooie motieven. Dus we hebben ons met zijn drietjes (mijn vader, mijn zoon en ik) uitstekend vermaakt.

Im Jahr 2018 gab es bereits seit 50 Jahren die Dampfbahn Hoorn Medemblik (SHM). Das ganze Jahr über fanden verschiedene Festlichkeiten statt, darunter das Bello-Festival. Es war schon eine Weile her, seit wir SHM besucht hatten. Kurz vor dem Festival stand auch die 6513 unter Dampf und nun, da die SSN mit der 01 1075 und 65 018 auch Pendelfahrten zwischen Hoorn und Enkhuizen anbot, sollte ein Besuch dort sicherlich gemacht werden. Es war auch das erste Mal, dass mein Vater nach längerer schwerer Krankheit wieder mitgehen konnte. Das Wetter war wunderschön und es gab viele schöne Motive. Wir drei (mein Vater, mein Sohn und ich) hatten also eine tolle Zeit.

In 2018, the Hoorn Medemblik Steam Tram (SHM) had already been in existence for 50 years. There were various festivities throughout the year, of which the Bello festival was one. It had been a while since we had visited the SHM. Just before the festival, the 6513 also came under steam and now that the SSN with the 01 1075 and 65 018 also provided shuttle rides between Hoorn and Enkhuizen, a visit should certainly be made there. It was also the first time that my father was able to go out again after a serious long-term illness. The weather was beautiful and there were many beautiful motifs. So the three of us (my father, my son and I) had a great time.
