Rahkshi Hordika - a photo on Flickriver

Rahkshi Hordika

            Built for Space Jam 2021 (Why wasn't it held last year? I was so looking forward to it :') ). The theme was 'Sci-Fi Horror'. My take on the theme was basically combining two of the most terrifying things from the Bionicle universe into one abomination. This was a blast to build, a few of my favorite sections were:
- The 'spine' using Hero Factory cocoons
- The lower jaw that opens up in four clawed sections
- The articulated chest section, covered by shadow trap parts as exposed ribs
- the staff, I love how all the parts came together there.

I will probably make a version two someday with a more consistent color scheme, sturdier connections and no missing armor/flesh wounds.

Also, allows quickly viewing any Flickr photo on black background in large size.
