Sunset on Copalis Beach (Explored Sept 16, 2020)

            We recently took a trip to the beaches of lower Washington State.  These were a very come-as-you-are group of beaches, and very different form the Oregon Coast.  There is actually sand.   From a landscape photographers perspective, this is not a good thing.  With no fantastic foregrounds its tough to create great images.  I did not set out to get a great image here at Copalis Beach, but I was shooting these two interesting fisherman on the shore.  I did not think much of it, but when I got home to process I realized that the sun, the dark sky, the color and the reflection all combined to make a very compelling image.  The clouds were thick this evening.  This was not the result of the recent Oregon fires, though it sure looks that way.  The dark skys were just a result of the setting sun and the very thick clouds.
