AUGUST 2016 NM1_9770_013472

The Cheltenham badlands is one of my favourite places to photograph. the efforts of the City of Caledon to protect and preserve this amazing natural site has paid off in spades.

the natural texture of the earth has returned, the bright reddish brown clay and mud has returned with the veins of blue green sulphur running through them. the red earth hills are free of the myriad of footprints and scuff marks from too many careless individuals traipsing all over its surface with no regard for the damage they were inflicting on such an ecologically sensitive area.
