FAMILY OF AFRICAN ELEPHANTS (Loxodonta africana)....MASAI MARA....SEPT 2016.

            This shot of African Elephants was captured during my recent visit to Masai Mara, Sept 2016. While driving across the game reserve we came across a herd of these elephants who were  peacefully grazing or just coming out of a small pond where there were having a mud bath which helps to keep ticks and other flies away from their bodies.Captured this shot of three generations,mother,daughter and baby elephant walking behind each other showing the loving bond between these elephants and fear of humans. It is a pleasant sight to see them alive and roaming freely on the open plains of Masai Mara. Long it may continue.........
