COMMON POTOO Nestling with Parent on Nest Nyctibius griseus. This Common Potoo baby with parent was observed atop a broken off trunk alongside the Vía Cunuco north of Mindo in northwestern Ecuador at 12:09 PM on October 31, 2018.

The Common Potoo belongs to the family Nyctibiidae and is found from Nicaragua south to northwestern Venezuela, Colombia, western Ecuador, the Guianas, Brazil, Paraguay and northern Argentina. It is also lives in Trinidad and Tobago.
